We have been on surfbay caravan park for over 40 years. It is a small quiet site, with staff that are always so helpful and friendly. We love the fact it is a family run business and believe this is what makes them care more about the caravan owners and site.

It is a small walk to a wonderful beach and small town, with everything you need. We would recommend a visit to anyone.

Staying at our caravan at Surf Bay puts a smile on our face and makes us feel good. The caravan is warm and comfortable, the site is tidy and attractive and the staff are always polite and attentive. Adjacent to the Burrows, an area of coastal grassland and sand dunes, the beach and sea are within easy walking distance and the village offers a variety of shops and restaurants. Our children and grandchildren are always excited to visit Surf Bay and Westward Ho! as well.

I live in Yorkshire so it’s a big investment of time to purchase in North Devon. I have not one regret. The park is exceptionally looked after by the attentive office and maintenance team. It’s Peaceful surroundings and access to the village, beach and walks are excellent. I’ve asked for help from the staff and I’ve always had a very prompt and positive response. All work hard at ensuring we are looked after and have great stays on the Park. 

We have had our caravan for three years and enjoy staying in it. The site is peaceful and always well maintained. Staff are always on hand and happy to assist with any problems. Certainly a lovely community spirit on the site.

We have been owners for exactly 1 year now and we have never had 1 minute of regret. The place is immaculately looked after and nothing is too much trouble for the team that run it. It's a beautiful , peaceful haven and our only regret is that we didn't buy a place here years ago. I would recommend surf bay to anyone who wants a lovely piece of westward ho! to call their own.

We discovered this gem of a caravan park a few years ago. It is a quiet site with a launderette but close enough for all the local amenities such as restaurants, cafes and various pubs all within a short walking distance.If you find walking difficult it is flat both on the site and into the centre of Westward Ho!

Other local amenities include the local Golf Course, ( the oldest course in England and a links to boot) surfing and other water sports all available in a 10 minute walk to the beach.The beach is beautiful and the surrounding coastal areas are second to none.

The staff on site are amazing and will always help you whenever they can or put you in touch with anyone else if they are not able but that hasn’t happened yet!

Our grown up children love it here as well as our grandchild and there is always something to do even in bad weather.
