At Surf Bay Holiday Park in North Devon, we offer wheelchair friendly static caravan holiday accommodation to help you experience an independent and stress free holiday.

Our wheelchair friendly Albatross static caravan has been specifically built to make your stay with us just that little bit easier.

Access is via a ramp and all doors and corridors have been widened. Units, handrails, switches, sockets and appliance controls have also been lowered and above the double bed, there is a hand grab to assist in pulling yourself up. There is also a ‘wet room’ complete with shower seat.

This accommodation is very popular so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Experience an independent and stress free holiday in our Albatross Wheelchair Accessible pet friendly holiday caravan that has been specifically built and adapted to make your stay with us just that little bit easier.

The open plan lounge/diner/kitchen allow for free movement around the caravan and there is a comfy sofa in the lounge area where you can put your feet up and watch TV.

The wider than average galley style kitchen area is well equipped with fitted appliances, low level units, sockets, switches and appliance controls as well as as a good supply of utensils & cutlery.

There are two bedrooms with sliding doors in the Albatross, there is a twin bedroom with full size single beds and the main bedroom has two full size single beds that can be pushed together to make a double if required. There is a hand grab above the bed to assist when pulling yourself up.

The wet room shower is equipped with hand rails, shower seat, WC and wash hand basin suitable for wheel chair users.

Rooms give good access for wheelchairs and have hand rails. For extra comfort, the caravan is fully double glazed and centrally heated and is supplied with all pillows & duvets. Bed linen is provided, if you require assistance with bed making then please let us know.
